A source privy to the incident reliably report that the founder of the church, Apostle Akan Weeks was supposed to be ordained Bishop today. Our source said high profile citizens of the state were present at the event when the church, located at Km1 Uyo Village Rd, Off Wellington Bassey Way, Uyo, collapsed. The state governor, Udom Gabriel Emmanuel, was present. From all indications, the governor, alongside others were trapped in the building. It is further learnt that he is in good condition as at the time of filing this report as he was rushed to the government house immediately.
